Cryogenic Butterfly Valve

Ultra-low Temp Butterfly Valves

RANGER’s Cryogenic Butterfly Valves for ultra-low temperature service have been engineered to ensure high-performance and leverage CNC machining equipment, as well as other specialty equipment, and dust-free/clean assembly areas to ensure a consistent and high-quality product.

Key Application(s)

  • Low-temperature industries such as LNG, LPG, LEG, air separation, etc.

Design Features

  • Sizes from NPS 2” to 48”(DN50 to DN1200)
  • Class range from 150 to 900 (PN20 to PN150)
  • Working temperature: -196℃ to 340℃
  • The main parts subject to a temperature ≤-101℃ are subzero treated to prevent valve deformation under ultra-low temperatures
  • The sealing faces of the valve seat and clack are hard-faced with alloy to improve the erosion resistance and extend the service life of the valve
  • Compact structure, easy installation and disassembly, repair friendly and lightweight
  • Adjustment capable and can be used as a control valve
  • Zero-leakage sealing
  • Blow-off prevention design to improve safety
  • Drainboard design to effectively prevent the inflow of condensate to the insulation layer
  • Low leakage packing in valve stem sealing meets the requirement for low leakage
